We did some designs for Newtown Knife Gang's new range of shirts.
They wanted a variety of styles and the designs to be up to two colours each, but other than that they just let us do whatever we wanted to.

Daleahs
A new restaurant recently opened in Braamfontein, Johannesburg and we had the pleasure of being there from it's inception.
This has been a labour of love for us and we are so proud of the finished product.
Daleahs is a relaxed eatery serving quality, gourmet food.
The goal was to keep the design sleek and contemporary, and bring in some character by pairing it with the illustrations.
We put together the corporate identity and complete look and feel.
This included the logo, collateral, menu design, take away packaging, coasters, and all the illustrations adorning it's walls.

Prohelvetia
We've teamed up with Prins Design to do work for Prohelvetia, the Swiss Arts Council.
This work includes the 2013 programme, and posters and flyers for all the dance and performance acts that they will be bringing to South Africa throughout the year.
We do all the illustrations and Prins Design does the layouts.
We'll be adding new work as we do it for this client, but here is what we've done so far. 2013 Graphic Design, Illustration -

Hopefully it got everyone in a festive mood. 2012 Character Design, Creative Direction, Illustration -
Says Who Mailer 2012
We made some new direct mailers to send to potential clients.
We figured if we were a creative at an ad agency, we'd love a cool little package containing some signed art prints, a coaster and a calendar for the remainder of 2012 and the whole of 2013.
Hopefully the real agency creatives are on the same page. 2012 Art Direction, Character Design, Illustration -
Seattle Coffee Company
Seattle Coffee Company contacted us about designing a coffee sleeve for them to be used throughout the summer season.
The theme was 'summer', and we could do whatever we wanted as long as we stuck to that.
They printed 75 000 units and they are available at any Seattle Coffee around South Africa. 2012 Illustration, Packaging, Print Design -
Nestlé
The guys at Copper Coast asked us to create an illustration for the new Nestlé corporate brochure.
All the individual elements represent the different aspects of Nestlé as a company, from their distribution to their consumers.
The separate elements were then to be used for each chapter in the brochure, but unfortunately although the South African client loved it, the Swiss one didn't.
It still looks good though! 2012 Graphic Design, Illustration -
The SA Ballet Theatre
We participated in this awesome project aimed at raising awareness and funds for The South African Ballet Theatre.
Joe Public produced a life size ballerina/music box, and we spent the next two weeks in their basement painting countless amounts of roses, ribbons and ballet shoes.
The box was then moved into Hyde Park shopping centre, where if money was put into the slot in the corner, music would play and a real life ballerina would dance.
The box raised R10 000 in just 4 hours, and was in just about every South African newspaper.
It was a really fun project to be a part of, and we're so proud of it. 2012 Illustration, Painting, Typography -

NiceFind
Indianna Harris from NiceFind asked us to create a CI for her little shop of vintage wonders, which recently opened in Melville.
She decided to use a couple of the logo options we came up with, and had some of them made into wood cuts to use for signage.
We also came up with different patterns that she will be using as wallpaper, wrapping paper and swing tags. 2012 Branding, Illustration -
Tiger Fight
Our friends at Tiger Fight, a new musical composition studio, asked us to play around with some CI options for them.
They ended up going with something else, but these are two of the options we came up with. 2012 Branding, Illustration -
Converse
DDB Johannesburg gave us carte blanche on creating a billboard concept for Converse for JHB and Cape Town. We worked with Angie Batis and decided to build each city out of laser cut wood, inside UK size 17 Converse All Stars. We designed and assembled the shoes, had them photographed and DDB did the final billboard layout.

Chicken Licken
We were asked to create these billboards that depict a monkey's arm pointing to a Chicken Licken outlet. They follow the theme of Chicken Licken's latest TVC which shows a monkey (as a metaphor for addiction) on a guy's back. The monkey keeps growing and becoming more annoying until the guy finally eats some Chicken Licken.
We were also asked to create four posters (in afrikaans and english) for the openings of two new outlets. The theme was "you'll hate yourself for waiting this long". 2011 Design, Print Design, Illustration -

We were asked by some lovely ladies to take part in an Event called Fine Mongolian Ass. Basically it was an exhibition/party aimed at raising funds for these 3 ladies to drive an old ambulance from London to Mongolia, a third of the way around the world, to raise even more money for charity. They're even donating the ambulance once they're done with it!
